| Pet and Teen Compassion Headquarters (PATCH)
is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Federal Identification #03-0369795
It’s our Mission to act as an advocate for dogs, cats and youths who are victims of neglect, abuse or abandonment; Provide dogs and cats, no-kill (long-term) shelter where animals are not destroyed except when compassion for an animal demands euthanasia and no reasonable alternative exists; Provide long-term transitional living shelter to assist youths 18 years of age and older in the transition to independent, self sufficient living. Our program design bares a close similarity to the “Prisoner’s for animal’s” programs which have shown tremendous success in rehabilitating the inmates and the animals. By incorporating two, normally separate programs together, a no-kill animal shelter and a long-term transitional living shelter for teens, we create a kind of self-help group for both. Studies have shown that the unconditional love of an animal has therapeutic benefits. These benefits include: stress reduction, mental & physical stimulation and emotional stability. Currently we are seeking the funds to open our two shelters. Your support can mean the difference between the outdoors and the indoors. Please Donate . |
